Ceramic Chic
Unique crockery instantly brings personality to a table, and Aoife Slattery’s collection recently caught my eye. The Limerick-based artist prints playful and colourful designs onto white earthenware clay to create a fresh and contemporary aesthetic. The breakfast jug, pictured, has been designed without a handle, but features a signature vertical fold for a unique take on a traditional breakfast table staple. €30 at mimiandmartha.com

Modern elegance
Scribble & Stone is one of my favourite Irish jewellery brands as it achieves that perfect balance between statement and elegant. The pieces always look refined, but they are not so delicate that they don’t have impact. This pendant is a current favourite of mine; €85 at scribbleandstone.com.
